NK marathon MTB  -  12th edition

The county Limburg is always a nice environment to bike in.

The first time I ride this track with a fully.

Starting with a VIP card in the sponsor block, so just after the first 200 bikers with a race license. As alway the first miles are fast and somewhat crowded but always with good bikers around. The first hour the goal is to try to get the right cadens and balance in the speed uphill. We cross the border to Belgium at least three times. The down hill is a joy with the fully, just let the bike flow and less breaking. At the end of every downhill section there always someone fixing a tire. In one downhill section  I get in a low

ditch with holes and it look like ages to get out of it on the right trail. Finally I can lift the front tire and jump out of it, lucky. The ground is dry and loose. The second half of the race is more easy, less climb. But the climb still are steep enough to hurt the muscles. The last miles is full speed, using every power that is left over in the body.

Finished at place 121, so pretty good.
